Worked as an Area Manager for a few months, and wow what a few months that was. A tiny little company that thinks its in-line with the bigger ones. After spending my time in the office or mostly out cleaning sites, it was apparent what kind of company this is. A truly unprofessional company that has no clue about the cleaning game. If a mistake on the cleaners wage was made they would make the cleaners wait until the following month. I also witnessed cleaners not getting paid for extra work they have done. How are you supposed to get the best work from anyone? After spending over a week cleaning flats near Blackpool, I popped 2 discs in my back. This led me to be off work and to be sacked. Fair enough, it didn't work out, I was pretty relieved to be honest This is where the fun started. If you are employed by a company for over 2 months they have to pay you a weeks notice. This is something they didn't want to adhere too. They also tried to charge me for a broken car key 115? In total they owed me around 600. They never intended to pay me. I got in touch with Acas who advised me to contact CG through email to ask for payment. CG ignored every one of my emails. Therefore I was advised to make a claim to the County Court. They MD of CG made everyone cringe in the video hearing to the court as he didn't even know how much I was on. After a lot of messing around on CG'S part the court found in my favour. True to CG'S way of doing things they ignored the court order..... This is were I had to employ a council bailiff, this took a lot of messing by CG,and CG even made the payment too short. In the end a 600 bill turned into 1600 bill due to the incompetence of CG Cleaning. Oh by the way if you are happy to drive around in a battered 10 year old company car then this is the company for you!!!! I am waiting for CG to reply to this review saying I was an awful Area Manager, I will take this with a pinch of salt, as my former and latter position shows my true work ethic. STAY AWAY FROM CG CLEANING.
