        As I may have mentioned, the market hall is very different to a few years ago, the blight of modernization, I think the upgrade? was to sort of compete with the Trafford centre, but the Trafford Centre is a very good set up, especially now it is about to have a metro link connection, but the market hall is a reasonable set up, a fair cross section of cafes and retailers, accessible parking, and the old basement has been re tasked quite well, and not to forget the cinema, all things considered a fair setup!

        The market hall is somewhat changed as a result of modernization, before there were many different independent stalls including even an umbrella man, and a range of kitchen goods and tools, the whole floor space was taken up with stalls, and a good cafe upstairs, it is good that the original crypt has been restored, and a number of eating places opened, plus a regular pop up, and various stalls are put up on different occasions, not ideal, but still a nice oasis!
