Thomas Colledge House

My Dad has spent just over three years in the outstanding care of the staff at Thomas College. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness, dignity and respect they have shown my father Cyril, right up until his recent sad death. He has been a very content and happy resident in his home with you all. I too have been extremely happy with the high level of care and support you have given him. You have all been amazing and some of you I will miss seeing now as you have become friends not just my dads carers. Its a bit early for me yet to book a room but I would not hesitate in highly recommending this amazing care home. Keep up the fabulous work and care you give. I would like to say what an amazing place Thomas College House is. My lovely sister Jackie Exton spent the last few weeks of her life there after s terminal diagnosis. I cannot express the compassion, care and understanding every member of staff gave her. I spent two weeks visiting her daily just before her passing and in that time realised what a fantastic set of people work there. Not only did they care for her but also all her visitors. You have to be a special type of person to do that job and they cetainly are that, from cook to management. Thank you all for making her last few weeks comfortable making her loss easier for us to bear. Jenny Exton

I would just like to praise and thank the management and staff at Thomas College for the excellent care and attention they give my aging father. The home itself is meticulously clean, fresh, bright and cheerful. The staff are lovely, very kind and genuinely caring. The room my father has is also perfect with its own private bathroom. Knowing this puts my mind at rest that he is in very good hands. I am so pleased he is looked after so well. living in Matlock it's not always easy with work commitments to be with him as often as I would like to be. Thomas College is a real credit to the management and staff. Thank you so very much for all your hard work, help and support in caring for my father. Wishing you all the very best. Ian Gregory.
