Millfield Nursing Home

I cannot express in sufficient words how good Millfield is. Not only just how well run this establishment is but the staff throughout do a very difficult job and are excellent with the residents. My father in law is resident at this time and it gives us great comfort that he is safe and well cared for. Thank you all.

Ive worked at Millfield Care Home for 17 years, its a lovely place to work. All the staff are kind and caring. We are like one big family at the heart of the community.

The staff here are fantastic and worth their weight in Gold. Dad went in the nursing home after an awful time in hospital. He has Alzheimers and deteriorated a lot in hospital. All the staff at Millfield, from nursing staff, carers, laundry, cleaning and cooks, and not least the entertainment staff, they are all a credit to the home for not only doing their job but for clearly caring for the residents, and the family who visit. My dad is now on end of life care, and he is so comfortable and relaxed it is making a terrible time seem so much more bearable. I thank God that my dad was put in this nursing home. He has clean clothes on every day, all washed and ironed well. He is clean shaven. The food is great, home cooked food, amazing cakes. Over many years I have visited people in nursing homes and never seen as much care as I see in Millfield. It is such an important job, and having the right staff is crucial. Thank you to all the Millfield staff.
