So pleased to find this place last Friday; an ironmonger's is a rare find these days and this place, courtesy of Trevor who I believe is the Branch Manager, delivered the very best service and specific products (and quantity so no waste) I required at a fantastic price, including kindly adapting what I needed to fit the project I was working on. Also, the product I needed, none of the big chain merchants had it available, so I was looking at placing an Amazon order and having to wait for it to be delivered before contacting Trevor at Gardner and Scardifield, initially by telephone. Would highly recommend Trevor and this branch of Gardner & Scardifield, plus will myself be checking with them first in future to support a much appreciated Sussex business and to thereby hopefully keep the rarity that is an Ironmonger's today still an option to the general public in the Sussex county at least.
