After we moved in to our bungalow we have spent the last several years deliberating on what to do about our front room and dining room.The biggest factor was lack of light and lack of room, as the rooms are narrow and long. We contacted Jayne and we gelled very quickly. We were quickly on board with most of her ideas and a little leap of faith on others. And glad we did. Jayne is also very good at keeping us on track. The end result is a fabulous contemporary design which has given us the light we craved. Thanks Jayne, not sure we could have done it without you. Jayne has overseen my project this summer and I could not imagine where I would be without her help. She has co-ordinated the installation of a new kitchen and bathroom and found me an excellent builder to provide an extension to my sitting room. She also liased with plumbers, electricians, a carpenter and a decorator. At every stage Jayne has been on hand to check the progress of the work. She also helped me choose my kitchen and bathroom and decide on flooring, furniture, curtains and blinds to complete the project. I cannot recommend Home Design and Interiors highly enough - Jayne has a very professional and caring approach. I just could not imagine how I would have coped without her reassuring and calm manner. When we moved to our 1980's bungalow in Chichester, we recognised that the property had great potential, but we lacked the expertise to agree what to do. The 'public rooms' were generous in size but stuck in the 80s. We wanted a much more contemporary look. Jayne helped us to better understand how the kitchen and dining room could be completely redesigned as one glorious space, providing more appliances, convenient storage and worktops. And there was still more than enough room for our large dining table. Meanwhile the living room could be transformed by the removal of the old-fashioned fireplace and side shelving and introducing a splash of colour at the chimney breast. The most impressive part of the design implementation was the scheduling of the tradesmen. We were on site most days of the 7-week project to answer the day-to-day queries, but Jayne efficiently dealt with the more demanding issues. The tradesmen were all excellent.
