        Took deposit then never showed up. Contact numbers don't work. A month later he still has not refunded my deposit and does not respond to emails.

        Unreliable, incompetent, dishonest, poor service. Do not use! We hired James to complete multiple jobs months ago after posting for the work on MyBuilder. His account has since been removed by them due to him walking off site, not returning any calls, texts, or emails. Constant promises of finish dates and completing the work was followed by not turning up and the end of communication. He wanted the full payments when only a third of the way through jobs - as he never finished a job properly (fitted a door that leaked for weeks, a floor that had to be ripped up and put down again, replaced skirting board poorly), we negotiated half payment when half the final two jobs had been done. After getting that far with laying decking and fitting new wardrobes, he has never returned! We are now left with no alternative but to pay out more money to fix and finish the poor work he has carried out. Save yourself getting in the same situation, DO NOT USE!
