The Workshop Company

Nikki was great when she attended our school during our "Circus Week", and did workshops with every class from Foundation through to Year 6. They had so much fun learning new skills and we have already recommended her to another school.

Our students enjoyed a fantastic and well paced day full of learning new skills and building their confidence to experiment with and explore these independently. Nikki was knowledgeable and engaging; she spent time making sure that individuals in the group successfully completed challenges. We all had a great day and finished with a fun and supportive performance opportunity. I cannot recommend this workshop enough.

We had Nikki come to our school in London last week for a full day circus workshop with Year 4 and it was such a great day! The children were engaged the whole time and loved every minute of it. We were a bit nervous to do a full day workshop as we thought they would maybe get a bit bored after a while but we were definitely proved wrong. The day felt extremely structured with a mixture of sitting down for the circus skill to be modelled and the children having a go themselves. Each part of the workshop built up the skill starting from easy to harder and the children really felt like they could achieve something! There were lots of different skills and equipment for them to try which was also fantastic. Nikki had the children in the palm of her hand and her behaviour management was fab, especially seeing as she didnt even know the children beforehand. When organising the workshop, replies were very quick and any questions I had were answered. The only issue was the booking confirmation went into my junk mail so couldnt find it at first but Nikki sent reminders to find it/new confirmations which was helpful. A really outstanding and fun day for everyone and we would highly recommend it to other schools - we have already now had the circus workshop twice this year in our school and would definitely have it again at some point for a different class! Thank you to Nikki and the workshop company for everything!!! :)

"It was the best thing we've done in a long time and I'm so grateful we got this experience" The words from the children say it all, Nikki was great to communicate with and we have had nothing but rave reviews of the workshops from the children!

Nikki led a brilliant workshop with a fantastic pace. Students were engaged start to finish and the whole day was filled with skills and tricks that were really well explained. Some students even left wanting o buy their own circus gear to learn at home. Students were encouraged to work together and this was brilliant for team building too. Thanks a lot, Nikki!
