This is such a special place whatever the weather, whatever the season. It has an air of calm and serenity coupled with endless birdsong and breathtaking views from the viewpoint. The Gruffalo trail keeps the young at heart busy while adults can indulge in quiet mindfulness or have fun following the walking trails. Springtime is special with bluebells, primroses and pink and white blossom. Summer is full of lush green trees and grassy paths to walk and play. Autumn is stunning in the autumn garden with reds and golds. Winter is special even when the trees have lost their leaves- Queenswood in the snow or a heavy hoar frost still lifts the spirits in the darkest of days. The renewal of nature is uplifting and always evident. And dogs enjoy a walk any day of the year! If you have not ever visited this wonderful oasis of calm, you need to take time to stroll, round with your phone turned off- and indulge in the calming beauty of nature. I have know Queenswood for over 30 years and it has always been a place of fun with the children and an oasis of calm and mindfulness when needed over the years. Thank you Queenswood- we love you!
