I already had an appreciation of real ciders and perrys. Now my appreciation is enhanced as Butford Organics do make some lovely natural, organic, sulphite free examples. Further to that, delivery has always been excellent - literally overnight. Having become a customer we did also ask if we could visit on our way to Devon. We stopped in Hereford, which wasn't far away, with it's interesting cathedral (but lack of pubs selling real cider on a Sunday evening). Visitng was really enjoyable for us, meeting Janet and Martin, who were very welcoming, walking the orchards and buying apple juice, cider, perry and brandy - all excellent. To me these drinks carry me to a summer time when we had apple and pear trees, the sun, the buzzing and a sense of happiness. Enough musing though. A lot of work goes into making these wonderful drinks. I'd recommend adding Butford Organics to your real cider experience.

Visited the orchards on a cold Tuesday morning and had a great tour and explanation of cider and perry making by Martin, the owner. Easy onsite parking with a small shop and barn in which we tasted some of the many bottles on sale. All the products are grown and bottled organically; this is a hands on, quality orientated local producer. We tried some lovely cider with Infinite Possibilities living up to its title, but the star of the day was the Hendre Huffcap sparkling perry. Vastly superior to prosecco, with a previous vintage the overall champion at the Hereford Cider Museum international competition in 2022. Simply superb! It should be on your list of places to visit!

Visited in 2021 and enjoyed a tour with Martin round the orchards. Have bought the perry and cider several times since. Both are a great accompaniment to Sunday lunch! And the cider brandy is delicious.

Great ciders. Authentic; made with nothing but their own apples. Single variety apple juices too!
