Just found out about Ron and Phyllis passing away during my time in Hereford they were the kindest hard working people you could ever hope to meet.My late wife and I used to love going to batches bargains it's a great place . Both Ron and Phyllis were old school kind ,generous and welcomed everyone the same way regardlous of who you were or what you have just a lovely couple. I will miss them both greatly . l have also just found out that Robert has decided to close the business which will be a great loss to the area because they were so much more than a business to many many people always having time to give to their customers. Also sad to see that Tony recently loss his wife a lovely man who has been part of the batches family for so many years l knew Tony's wife and she will be sadly missed .
