Strike Martial Arts

The martial class is a fantastic class which engages the kids. The teacher trains the kids both physically and challenges them mentally while still encouraging them. This has built my daughters self confidence and self belief in her own skills. I would highly recommend.

My son has been attending Strike Martial Arts for nearly 18 months and loves it. It has really helped his confidence and fitness grow. Libby is a really patient and enthusiastic teacher and makes the lessons fun for the children whilst learning self-defence and martial arts skills! I would recommend!

A fantastic class for infant age children. My 4 year old and 7 year old love their martial arts class. The class is a combination of physical exercise and resilience training, with a huge emphasis on fun and taking part. The adults get a bit of a work out too!

In the time my boys have been with Libby she has managed to give my eldest so much confidence that he actually volunteers to come up front and demonstrate moves and more recently to lead the clubs creed.... putting himself forward like this is something he would never do in a million years! The lessons are mixed, with warm ups, lessons on various moves, using props like fighting swords and board breaking, rounding off with belt exam work. Once they reach a certain level they are invited to join black belt club, which is some more focused time with libby for a further 20mins at the end of class. Libby is such an enthusiastic and fantastic teacher all of the children respond so well to her and you can see the progress with all of her students. I'm so happy we found this karate club and can't wait to see the boys develop further under Libbys leadership. Thanks so much Libby!
