Poor Customer Service. Having obtained my "collection code" I went to this pharmacy to pick up some lateral flow test kits. I waited my turn, observing their 2 persons inside at a time rule, and eventually got to the counter. The person behind the screen kept their back to me and did not acknowledge my presence for 2 minutes. In that time I read several notices about abuse not being tolerated, bad language and aggression not being tolerated etc. There have obviously been many incidents of this behaviour in the past but is it any wonder people get angry if they are completely ignored and treated like idiots? A quick 'I'll be with you in a minute" was all that was required. When they did speak, I was asked, "Can I help?". How about the phrase, "How can I help?" the first thing you learn on any customer service course.

Absolutely shocking customer service. My husband phoned the pharmacy on Monday 23rd March to request his medication to be delivered. He was told it would be delivered on Tuesday 24th March. It never arrived and my husband called the pharmacy on Wednesday 25th March to see when he would get his medications but the phone just kept on ringing as no one would answer. He tried again within 1 minute and it was engaged and this has been the same result after 69 calls on Wednesday. Today Thursday 26th March my husband went down to the pharmacy to enquire about his medications that were still owed to him to be told no one would talk to him as the pharmacy does not open now until 10am. A female member of staff came to the door to tell him they don't open till 10am then my husband just asked when can he expect to receive his medications and the female member of staff said she could not talk to me about it and to call the pharmacy instead to which my husband replied that would help if you would just answer your phone to which the female staff member replied we do and i'm not talking to you go away. My husband is disabled and needs these medications as he has now ran out of 1 of them and is running low on the others. He had a witness at the pharmacy to him calling the number for the pharmacy and put it on loud speaker and it just kept ringing, he did this 3 times with the same result. I know they are overwhelmed by this pandemic and i appreciate that they are trying their best in a very difficult situation, but it is only a question and it could not and would not be answered. A very kind woman who works for the NHS asked my husband what the problem was and she did say they are trying their best. My husband told her of his dilemma and she said she would try to help. She returned and told him they could not get involved with pharmacy business and if he is running out of medication then he should call 111. This very kind and understanding NHS female worker was brilliant in the way she helped my husband and i would like to say a great big thank you to her. My husband called 111 and this is now being dealt with.
