Studio 22 hair design

Having lived in Nottingham for over 30 years. I'm now in territory unknown for hairdressers, as I'm living near Doncaster. (But more importantly as I'm not a regular visitor to these establishments. I've been blessed with 2 daughter in laws who've trimmed my hair for the last 4 to 5 years. So I'm now having palpitations with just the idea of entering a hair salon.) But Studio 22 in Blyth was recommended to me. And you have no idea how super glad I am about that. Particularly in the current climate of COVID19. Not only does this beauty salon look sophisticated, it's also cosy and welcoming. Michelle, my stylist put me at ease immediately, and talked me through their measures for COVID19, not only face masks in situ and my personal and contact details recorded, but every chair, wash basin etc etc was cleaned infront of my own eyes. I felt very safe and reassured. Having had a relaxed chat about my requirements, I'm on my way. I have quite long hair, which I'm very possessive of. My hair was washed, that was so relaxing, and Michelle continued to engage me in conversation. I'm comfortably seated, ready for styling. Again, I'm asked what I want, we talk through it. I'm so grateful. Michelle's intuition really kicked in, as to how nervous I was to have my hair cut. Every step of the way was my decision, professional advices provided, but ultimately my decision for my hair. The cut, style and finish was amazing. Needless to say I've booked again in December. Fingers crossed we are not in a lockdown as I'm honestly looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you Michelle. Service: Hairstyling

I've been going here since it opened about 10 years ago and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The girls are not only great at their job, but also add a lovely, caring nature with great conversation. Highly recommend
