Appalling service. Waited 45 minutes for two lattes and toasted teacakes. Other customers (obviously well known to the staff judging by the welcome they received) who arrived after us were served before us. The food was "plonked" on the table without finesse. No apology for the lengthy wait to be served. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

My daughter and I went for lunch at Dolly Dimples for the first time last Thursday, January 13th. We had Burger & chips and fish & chips respectively. Both were superb! My homemade tartare sauce and mushy peas topped off chips cooked in dripping (beef I think) and delicious cod in a light batter. The staff were polite and professional but also genuine and friendly. I didn't feel pressured to eat and leave; it really did feel like a much 'bigger' experience than the price. I don't think I was the only person who thought this judging by the almost full house. I will be going back!
