        I'm giving this 2 stars because all of the nurses and most of the carers are lovely caring people. However, it's not managed well and some of the carers are unkind. There is a definite lack of stimulation for those in care and a general lack of organisation particularly in regards to change over of rooms and in relation to allowing relations to visit.

        The staff at the care home is very helpful. I found myself stuck with a breakdown along the A1(M) in the middle of a cold storm. Faced with a choice to freeze in my car, I got out to seek refuge at the care home, where the staff took me in, offered me a hot cup of coffee and phone the AA to pick me up from their premises. We surely still have caring people in this cruel world.
