The Online Dog Behaviourist

We found Theo after numerous recommendations on social media to assist with a 'sudden' biting issue we had with our 10 month male cocker. We were initially apprehensive about how useful an online session would be vs an in person visit but given Theo's flexible availability it seemed like a good option to try. Theo took the time to explain how the session would work and give appropriate expectations for the session. She listened to what we found at the core of the issue and was able to then fill in little pieces in Max's behaviour/personality picture that instantly aligned and made sense. Very early in the conversation it was like a light came on for us and we were able to see the full picture and empower us to manage and resolve the issue.

Thank you so much for your expertise Theo. Our session was both incredibly informative and reassuring and we came away with a clear path of the changes required from us and with optimism riding high! The recording of the session was invaluable allowing our daughters to watch it and in turn allowing them to also get the full benefit of the hour my wife and I had spent with you online. As I write we are two weeks on from the session and the results have been brilliant and I'm pleased to report that Kaiser along with the rest of the family are in a great place. Theo came to my rescue when we needed help with our dog Pooki and our newborn son. Pooki is a calm dog generally but she had a fearful / aggressive reaction when we brought our baby home for the first time. Theo implemented a plan with us to help gradually acclimatise Pooki to our son using some very creative ideas, and guiding us through each stage of the process. Only a few weeks later and Pooki is so much calmer around the baby, and we feel in a much safer place going forward. Thank you Theo! Highly recommend!

We are so incredibly grateful to Theo. We adopted a 6 month old Romanian rescue puppy who was very afraid of humans, and having to deal with a whole new life and living situation. Theo gave us the knowledge and support to really turn Lunas life around - she is now a happy dog who can go on and enjoy walks, have strangers in her space, and even gets excited to see familiar people. Theo has given us so much confidence and instilled the importance of patience and consistency. Thank you!

At first we were hesitant to do an online consultation as we were not convinced it would be entirely effective without the behaviourist meeting the dog in question. We are ecstatic to say we were so very wrong. Theo first explained the structure of the meeting and spent time understanding our situation as well as our home set up and routines with our puppy. From there Theo gave us a far greater understanding of our puppy as well as a clear plan to move forward. Theo was very easy to talk to and reassured us whilst identifying anywhere where we could improve our own behaviour and training. Her knowledge is fantastic and even without meeting Koda in person she was able to give us so much advice, tips and tricks. The meeting was recorded for us which has come in very handy as Theo used every second of the allotted hour to help us beyond even the original issue we contacted her for. It means we can rewatch our meeting at any time for portions of advice we may have forgotten as there was so much to take in in just one hour. Following on from our consultation, Theo has kept in contact for follow up support as well as connected on Social media and we know she is only a message away should we need her. We cannot recommend Theo enough. We had one simple online consultation and the improvements have been wonderful for both us and our puppy. We can only imagine how fantastic her help is in person and absolutely would not hesitate to use Theo again for any advice we might need.
