The Remedy Wine Bar Shop & Kitchen

Me and my wife came in from Washington, DC, and while the beer in this city is amazing .. nothing compares to this wine bar. The bar tender Xavier was amazing with giving recommendations on the food selections, the order of them being delivered, and then the WINE selections. This is an authentic place ... we were able to meet the owner Andrea, and seriously, what a treat. Meeting owners of restaurants mean they really are committed to the experience of those present. We had lamb chops, beets salad, olives, fresh baked bread, and amazing cheese. We will return without a doubt. This is a gem in the busy, rushing, and moving part of London.

Had a great evening here - cosy establishment with a great vibe. The main reason for leaving the review is due to Xavier Sockeel or as one reviewer put below me, the French-speaking barman. Funny, knowledgeable and super at making wine accessible for everyone. Thanks again Xavier, will be back again!!!

Fantastic little wine bar, tasty menu and original wine list. Cosy atmosphere, warm welcoming staff really great at hosting and wine recommendations, We will be back!

The only time I have ever asked to remove service charge due to bad service/behaviour. The French-speaking barman (we spoke in French) was by far the most rude and unpleasant bar/restaurant staff member I have ever seen in the UK. Very annoyed at the fact that we simply asked if he could kindly turn on the heater outside. Hideous establishment to avoid at all costs.
