I think it's really important to shop locally at a time like this, and it's a pleasure to go into a store with such friendly, knowledgable staff. Prices were reasonable, and a lot of variation! Would definitely recommend.

Outrageous customer service in the Malet street branch. One of the staff (white woman, blond, short hair, around 55 years old in glasses) pushed me off, yelled at me and she used my voucher for my paid eye test without my knowledge! If I wouldn't raise the question she wouldn't refund it. AVOID!

I had a terrible experience with the optometrist David Hershman. He was rude, callous, unprofessional and could not be bothered to write an accurate prescription. I was compelled to have my vision tested again elsewhere, due to his incompetence. This was a long and expensive process. I would strongly advise against going to this optometrist.

I had an eye test here and made a pair of glasses, only to find that I had trouble reading. The staff at University Vision initially said that it just takes time to adjust to new pair of glasses. It was only when it didn't improve that we found I had developed presbyopia. One would think that's what an eye test is supposed to discover. University Vision refused to reglaze my glasses and I had to pay extra to buy another pair. I was very disappointed.
