Bird in Hand

First time we have used the Bird in Hand. Very impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Great selection of food which was well presented and tasty. Well done we will visit again.

Absolutely amazing place! Food was outstanding, lovely atmosphere and the land lady was so welcoming. The bar/waiting staff were so warm and welcoming too, couldn't do enough for you! Dog friendly too, The black labrador Zak who lived there was especially cute and we enjoyed having some cuddles with him This is the definition of a traditional, good, homely pub that sell homemade, delicious, hearty grub! Will definitely be back! X X X

Me and my dog walked from Bellamy yesterday to the bird in hand this was the first time I come to the pub at first I was very much welcome in the the establishment by the landlady even though the pub was very busy I was served quick and with a smile all the staff was friendly and seemed happy to be there and happy to serve myself and others every time I went to the bar the pub was very clean and well looked after the beer was cold and was great to drink and the view was amazing would love to live locally I would make the bird in hand my local and all so pricing was at sensible price to I WILL be back very soon thank you

First time visiting and was by accident but glad, has it is a gem, food was delicious and the meal was huge, there was three of us and way too much for us, we left some so we had room for pud lol, the view was amazing, the charm is a cozy country pub you could spend all your day in just relaxing taking in the scenery talking to anyone who is next to you has everyone chats, definitely one worth a visit
