My gran Alice Revel stayed here until she sadly passed away in 2019. I visted my gran here every week and Michelle the manager and the staff where always friendly. I would spend several hours there and got to know a lot of the residents including Sheila my grans partner in crime. The place was always clean and the food was always varied and healthy. The cook always popped round each individual and gave them a option of what the could have for lunch, I found this very personal, no menu laminated menus in this place to pick off a real personal touch. There is a large seating area with 2 TVs There's a lovely garden area for the resedants to go and sit in which was well maintained. There was a entertainment organiser in the afternoons which knew everyone's names and she interacted with the residents and staff amazingly, she always had a smile for everyone and laughed a lot. The bedrooms where on 2 floors my grans was upstairs, it had a lift and a wide staircase for the residents to use. The rooms to me where a bit small but I suppose they where ok as they mainly where used to sleep in as the residents where encouraged to get up dressed and interact downstairs. Overall this was the best nursing home I had been in as a visitor, it was small so everyone got to know each other and trust me I knew all the residents by name and soon got to know their characters and personalities. Some made me smile while others I felt overwhelming. I miss the place and promised I would go back and see everyone but sadly I couldn't bring myself to go back, I would sooner keep all the great memories I have from visiting my gran. I hope Michelle is still there and her supporting team, plus cook. You are an amazing bunch and should be proud of the amazing job you do. Stay safe and thank you so much for looking after my gran, who I miss dearly. Julia

Our practice provides dental treatment for residents at Haywood Oak Care Home. The manager Michelle is highly professional, super welcoming and friendly. The staff are friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable & well trained, the smallest of tasks are completed to a high standard and never overlooked. Would definitely recommend this place for loved ones.

Care provided is second to none. The staff really do go the extra mile and take great pride in their job. We have never regretted moving our relative into Haywood Oaks, she's much happier & healthier now than she was on her own at home. Without a doubt, she's in the best place and genuinely enjoys being there, taking part in art & craft activities we haven't seen her pay any interest in for years. Every other visiting family member I've spoken to so far shares my opinion; I can't thank the staff enough for caring for my relative as if she is part of their family too.
