Held our sons 4th birthday party at lets pretend. We were looked after really well and loved the birthday decorations they provided. Really good quality food and such a great place for a party.

We hired Lets Pretend for our daughters 3rd birthday party. The whole morning went perfectly. The kids had a great time, the venue has lots to offer but it is also a civilised environment so the children dont go too crazy. A great coffee area for the parents to mingle whilst watching the kids. The team on the day (led by Ryan) helped ensure a smooth running schedule and everyone left having a great time. I would highly recommend

You book online for this. Weekday 1.5 hours 8.95 per child and 2.50 per adult. The quality of the toys and set ups at this venue were much better than I imagined they would be. I took 2 children one nearly 3 and the other 4 and they loved every minute of it. There are nice touches there such as ask echo to play your favourite songs and ask us if you can't see a dress up outfit you want to wear. I also thought it was a nice touch to add free feminine products and also nappies in the bathrooms. Few places do this. The adults are able to go on with the children and play or sit behind the fence and enjoy watching. You are asked to remove your shoes as soon as you enter the venue which is great. There are some snacks available and you are encouraged to buy these rather than being your own. Hot food and drinks are also on sale.

Amazing little play centre for your little one. Lovely variety of play with plenty of space and a lovely cafe too. Very accommodating for SEN children too. Thank you for having the Badgers class from Woodlands school. Well be back to visit your hidden treasure!

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Only been twice and will never go again. Incredibly rude staff who do not want children to relax and enjoy themselves, spend the whole time following the children around tidying up after them, telling them where they can and can't move the toys to, and scowl at you as a parent if you allow your child to have enough imagination to move anything around, such as to put the vet stuff in the nursery section. One particular young female member of staff continually gave us and our children scowls for them simply being creative, and even at one point made a loud rude comment about our children being annoying to whom I'm assuming is the owner. You only have to read their responses to the reviews to get a feel for their passive aggressive attitude to their customers. Its such a shame as with some better customer service this place would have a lot of potential. They've lost 2 dissatisfied customers this week.
