Ordered an Excalibur from Shaun. Quality piece of handmade kit. Shaun cares deeply about the service he provides and updates all the way through the process. If your after something bespoke for your gym I can't recommend Rawform enough.

The most beautiful mace ever. The customer service was outstanding. When my mace was going to be a little late Shaun added a mace tattoo to the mace and I seriously can't believe how good it looks. Shaun has also been super quick to answer all my questions after I received my mace. Highly recommend.

Ive been following the kneesovertoesguy program for a few months to attempt to rehabilitate my shot knees. A few weeks into that and I had an accident that resulted in me breaking my ankle. The concept of building strength from the ground up has been a pivotal part of my ankle fracture recovery. I was absolutely delighted to find that rawform_functional_fit was creating The Iron Shin allowing perfect scaling for the Tibialis raise. When mine arrived I was super impressed with the quality of the product and its a great functional training device. Im using it for tib raises, hip flexor and hamstring curls and I feel certain that Im going to bounce back from my fracture setback with way more leg strength than I started with. Shaun is a great guy and a brilliant artist and he is making cracking items, any of which I would love to own. When I eventually nail my mace swings I will be asking him for a custom mace because they are things of wonder.

Imagine traveling overseas to an unknown workshop where you find a majestic metal artist who decided to make workout tools as side hobby. That is how I discovered Shaun in the early autumn season of 2020. However, I did not have to travel all those miles to find him. His posts on Instagram found me. The ironsmith who welded the Excalibur handle so that any man or woman can simulate the Sword in the Stone in their own homes. Yes, the handle is quite the gimmick but one cannot deny the craftsmanship of its design. I used to tour castles in Germany from 2012-2014 and the authenticity & nostalgia of the Excalibur handle attracted me so much. It was October 2020 when Shaun posted that he needed a break from helping the fitness world. That break did not last long. Going into the 2020 holiday season, he refreshed the Excalibur with a 3.0 version, created amazing hammers, more maces, and even announced his suburb invention, The Transformer Mace. Shaun is an artist who invests so much of his money, time, and passion into his craft. In turn, despite living across the pond, I chose and continue to choose to make the investment in his works of art and function. I currently own three of his masterpieces. The Transformer Mace redefines macebell portability. I cannot say enough about its versatility and quality. The Bull Horns take push-ups to the next level. For me, they literally allow you to grab life by the horns and test your physical and mental fortitude to push yourself up again and again. The Iron Shins offer a unique weight distribution that will allow you to feel a difference immediately once you take them off. Shauns work is raw and real. He provides unedited footage of the production and evolution of his fitness equipment. What started as a hobby has grown into something very unique and special. It is a privilege to be part of Shauns journey as he shares his talent and imagination from his continuously evolving, Iron Asylum. I cannot wait to see what he comes up with next!
