Boat lane caravan park

Me & my dog spent 6 nights here at the beginning of March & it's a good spot to explore the surrounding areas in Nottinghamshire. There's also easy access to the canal & river from the rear of the campsite for nice long walks with the doggo in the morning/evening. This is one of the few sites that charge LESS for a single person (and his dog), rather than charging a flat fee for the pitch with up to 4 people included in the price - I wish more sites would offer this. The site was quiet during my stay, so I didn't have any issues with the toilets or showers being busy like some others mentioned. The shower temperatures were a bit of a mystery to begin with, but after a bit of practice I found the right shower/setting for me :) The kettle, toaster & microwave in the communal kitchen area are a nice touch and saved me trying to boil the kettle with gas in the van on a couple of mornings! Also included in the price was the entertainment of the chap who's caravan came un-hitched from his car while driving across the site & nosedived into the ground - poor fella... Judging by the gaffer tape on the caravan I don't think it was the first time!! Definitely recommend & would re-visit if I'm in the area. P.s - Good 4g signal, up to 20mbps where I was pitched which was plenty to stream the F1 race & any films etc..
