Wild camping experience. Enough space for exploring and playing football. Camp in the forest, build a fire. Recommend the Cross Keys pub in the village.

Stopped here to test out some kit, great place to camp if you like it really basic (one portaloo next to the parking area) and away from any built up areas, you can have a proper camp fire to cook on. There isnt any deadfall wood lying around so you will need to buy a barrow full off the land owner or bring it yourself, you can also buy a venison leg/meatballs for a camp feast. Car parking is well off the road so you dont have to worry about your vehicle. The owner Ant and his family are nice folk, Ill be camping here again for sure. Just remember to take every bit of rubbish away with you and make sure the fire is properly out when you leave.
