Crake Valley

We had the most wonderful break over the Easter bank holiday weekend. Crake Valley is set in a stunning location and ideally situated for both Coniston water and lake Windermere. Karina & Mathew kept us informed throughout our booking process. The lodges look spectacular and the site is so peaceful and clean. We stayed in the Blencathra lodge as we took our dog with us, the lodge was spacious, extremely well equipped (dishwasher, iron, ironing board, hair dryer) on top of all your usual conveniences like an oven, kettle microwave etc. A welcome pack with lots of information and ideas for days out was provided along with a complimentary Easter egg which the kids loved. Extra little touches like a few dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags etc show the level of care and thought that goes into your custom. The views of Coniston water from the short walk behind the park (see the information pack) are beautiful. Karina & Mathew, we cannot thank you enough for making our Easter weekend a superb experience, we will be back again in the summer!
