Dec the Halls

Every year, since my children were tiny we've visited this shop to buy a tree decoration each. They are now teenagers, but still insist on our family ritual. It's a lovely little shop, stocking some truly unique decorations of all price brackets. In times as they are, I really hope it continues to operate. Would be a crying shame to lose such a unique, independent shop.

A lovely little shop full of beautiful decorations. Like an Alladin's cave of Christmas wonder. Staff very helpful too.

An absolutely gorgeous, friendly little shop in the heart of Blandford Forum packed to the rafters with unique and lovely Christmas decorations. I'm currently looking at several little snow globes, hand-painted baubles, and a wooden scenery spinner which turns slowly when you light tea lights in it. All from Dec the Halls, and all brought out year after year. I haven't been yet this year due to lockdown, but will be paying a visit when I can to expand my festive collection. An excellent shop to get not only lovely decorations, but to get a fix of sheer joy.

An all year round Christmas shop. The feeling in here is very special. Like being a naughty child being someplace you shouldn't because it's Christmas but isn't, and you're getting to peek inside. If you understand.
