Stopped for a hot chocolate. Great setting with robins chattering weary, simple to found off the trail way near Milldown (towards Blandford). Cakes and treats looked Devine. Hot chocolate was perfect.

A fabulous little back garden cafe right off the North Dorset Trailway - literally right off it, just a set of steps leads you up to the outdoor seating area. This is the perfect spot when walking or cycling along the Trailway - there isn't anywhere to lock bikes, but if you are more than one then you can lock them together, or carry them up the steps to keep them within sight. Very welcoming and friendly with delicious cakes and a good cup of coffee; great value for money too. Highly recommend a visit if you are using the Trailway! The owner explained that opening times vary depending on weather and demand, so I would check their Facebook page for updates.

This is probably one of the best places I know to get a lovely latte and heavenly gluten free chocolate brownie (other cakes, cookies, soft drinks, ice creams available ofc but the brownie is my weakness ) Friendly service, always made to feel welcome - if you are in the area then I cannot recommend it enough!!! If it's cakey goodness and a drink then look no further than The Whistlestop!!
