Portman Lodge

Rooms: Room was very clean, comfortable with great bathroom including bath and shower, lovely fluffy towels. Tea coffee and hot chocolate in room, TV and very beautifully decorated. Also a lounge residents could use anytime, toys for the kids and plenty of books to read. Food & drinks: Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble and never rushed.

Rooms: Just stayed at Portland lodge Beautiful room spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly Beds very comfortable And a delicious breakfast would highly recommend.

Both Liberty and Jerry were incredible during our stay, very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We were a party of 6 accommodating 3 of the rooms and stayed for 4 nights. All the rooms were decorated beautifully, extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a good choice and we were served as soon as we came down and food all came out together. Would highly recommend the Portman Lodge, we will definitely stay again.

Room was well kept with an incredibly comfortable bed and lovely, plump pillows. Didnt realise breakfast was included when booking so that was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast (full English) was well presented with good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The hosts (a very friendly father and daughter) were brilliantly accommodating and went above and beyond with their service throughout my stay. Late check out can be requested while booking as can checking in outside of the usual hours. Theres a small patio area too which provides some nice seating for summer evenings.
