Nice enough cottage. Upstairs family room is very tired as is upstairs family bathroom, which is in need of refurbishment. Dissapointed with accommodation, bed in family room very high which is unsuitable for children to climb on, furniture also all chipped and scratched. Family bathroom has old chipped paintwork, leaky shower screen, and some staining on the tiles. One of the ensuit showers wasn't working well either. Dissapointed especially as the week cost over 2700. Kitchen well stocked and living spaces all nice though.

Just came back from a fabulous stay at Gardeners Cottage. As soon as I walked in I was taken back by the size of the property, and the wonderful decor and space it had to offer. The kitchen is absolutely huge, filled with everything you need and made the perfect place for us all ( 6 adults and 3 dogs) to sit down together whether to eat or just relax after a long walk - to which there are loads to do locally or a short drive away. The garden too was lovely and big and once the front gate was shut the dogs loved having roam of the vast space. The cottage was well equipped and the bedrooms wonderful; my roll top bath was a huge bonus. One of the few local pubs is only a stones throw away and everything in town is only a short walk. Couldn't recommend this cottage enough; Its by far the best rental I've ever stayed in. 10/10.
