It was like having breakfast with friends and we have already booked our stay for next year along with one of the other guests we met while staying there.
Our room was delightful and there were lovely personal touches such as fresh flowers, shower-gel and a little box of things you might need during your stay.
The New Inn is just a 4 minute walk away and this was our 'local' during our stay. There's also the delightful Coco's Coffee & Fashion in the village. Plenty of walks right on your doorstep, as well as Yeo Valley's Organic Garden which is well worth a visit. One afternoon we made tea and sat in the orchard with a couple of books from the guest lounge planning our next day.
