The Gun, Docklands

Not to be overly dramatic, but this was possibly the best burger Ive ever had. Puts Honest Burger and their kin to shame. More expensive, but superior in every aspect.

I bought a pint of London Pride at The Gun. I took one sip and the pint tasted off, so I immediately spoke to the barman about it. The barman, without tasting the beer himself, told me I was wrong and the beer was fine! I have never had my tastes dismissed in such an abrupt and I felt rude, manner. So this issue along with the bar being poorly managed, so you couldn't get to it and the mountain of dirty glasses in the serving area, I won't be going back to The Gun in a hurry.

There Saturday. Such a great pub and location but sad to say the food needs improving. Grossly overpriced, given it is within a stones throw to Billinsgate the fish was aweful and all meals were tiny. The beer garden is good, but will not be returning anytime soon.

Great location on the side of river, excellent service! I was here for a lunch and tried Smoked salmon and Fish and chips, food was really delicious, ales selection was excellent. Staffs were friendly and attentive, environment was phenomenal and attractive.
