As a mother, youre already nervous and cautious about leaving your child in the care of someone else just because you want to know theyre okay all the time, or its the parent guilt that kicks in when you see they dont want you to leave; especially if left with people they dont know. I was very scared of sending my children to nursery just because again, as a mum you worry anything could happen to them, you need to be able to have some level of trust. However, when I sent my first daughter to Docklands Village Nursery, although it took her a while to settle in she absolutely loved/loves it. She comes home singing all the songs they have taught her from a tidy up song to one where theyre pretending to be hopping bunnies which I enjoy so much because it means that shes engaging and also learning new things. From the very beginning the nursery has made me feel very comfortable, welcome and shows me that my children are taken care of very well. I like the app the nursery has provided us parents with because it allows us to physically see what our children had done that day, what theyve eaten and if in nappies, how many times they were changed etc. Being able to see what they took part in and also reading their individual progress is very helpful and fulfilling because I could then continue the teaching at home so they could become even better at what the task was. My second daughter Luna-Rae joined the nursery last year as I wanted both of them to attend the same one. Luna is a very clingy and cuddly child when around me so I had thought she wouldnt settle in but she had the very moment she started. This told me that the nursery and the staff were to applaud in this matter, they made her feel very safe, welcome and as though she had nothing to worry about. Once I left, they would always reassure her that I was coming back (which helped). When I go to pick them up, I can tell that all the staff have everything under control, the other children that attend Docklands Village Nursery are very calm, theyre all loving to one another and this is very nice to know as Im away from them, I know theyre safe and having fun. Overall, my view of Docklands Village Nursery is nothing but praise and positivity. I think its a fantastic, safe and a very welcoming nursery with lovely staff and I would recommend the nursery to others. Raynese Jacob.

Shila and the team at Docklands village nursery were always warm friendly and helpful as well as very accommodating to our needs. Our little boy loved going there so we were very sad to leave due to moving away. We would highly recommend the nursery and would certainly go back if we moved back to the area.

Really happy and impressed with Docklands Village Nursery. My son has being going for a couple of months now and they've been great helping him settle after most of his life in some form of lockdown! The staff are all so lovely and friendly and it has a wonderful warm family atmosphere. The children do interesting activities and local outdoor adventures and it's nice to get all the updates and photos of his progress.
