Majestic Wine Docklands

Drove down to London from Cambridge last minute to support my partner's sister who was running the marathon. Politely asked if we would be able to use the carpark for a couple of hours and they very generously agreed. Before leaving, we went in to buy a couple of bottles as a way of saying thanks. We had ordered a particular Verdicchio when on holiday a couple of years ago which we haven't been able to find in the UK. The staff in the store took the time to find us a selection of wines each in order for us to select the one we would prefer. They were both extremely polite, informed and enthusiastic, in addition to allowing us some easy parking! Great store, great staff, great selection of wines, very good prices for the quality of wines and, most importantly, extremely friendly staff. Thank you to all at Docklands Majestic.

I can't give this less than one star sadly. Ordered online, a case of drinks for my nephew who has just been offered a post teaching law at Cambridge (no mean feat) and this was a gift in celebration. Ordered online 28th Jan, to be delivered to his home by 4th Feb. 6th Feb still hadn't arrived so called Majestic head office to chase. They assured me they would call me back and confirm when on its way. They didn't. I have just spoken to head office again (8th Feb) and they also called Docklands -who haven't a clue what's going on. But they've promised to call me this afternoon to confirm when it will be delivered. shall we have bets on the likelihood? Truly shocking service....why would you order from them? pick it up if you're passing or alternatively try a supermarket/Amazon.

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening of wine tasting at the Docklands branch of Majestic Wines. The staff all made us guests feel so welcome and "at home". Wonderful wines to taste, some great surprises too! This branch is more on the small side, but just go and see how much they pack in there - amazing. Staff are knowledgeable and so helpful, and at no point was there even the slightest hint of pushing sales, really such a lovely atmosphere. Can't wait for their next tasting evening!

Neil was absolutely brilliant. I came into the shop needing to buy a gift for a friend's wedding and he was so helpful and informative. A very friendly man. Highly recommend majestic wine docklands.
