The pictures on Google don't do it justice, we visited st Anne's for the day and wanted somewhere nice to eat and found this place on line, it's not a pub it's a restaurant, the outside is lovely big charcoal fire pit and goldfish pool heated seating area, and there's a ramp and steps to enter, toilets are down stairs inside but they do have a lift, it's lovely inside very upto Date and the staff that greeted us were lovely dimly lit for a nice effect and very clean, food was lovely we had two rib eyed steaks and they come on hot stone slabs seared so you can cook them to how you like, tasty steak and I had my two year old meal with me, and her meal was a lovely size and she ate quite abit, our drinks were nice and the larger was overall very happy , Issues: there was no seating offered for the baby so she had to eat her meal in her buggy. The waiter was with the long black hair didn't know what she was doing luckily theee was a young man who took over our table and he was brilliant The starter of ribs was too small and cold we had to request staff to get them from the kitchen as the wait time for them was very long. 78 for two adults and a baby pricing isn't too bad but you'll need your dosh on you

Main course was terrific, had the sharing platter, desserts disappointing. Atmosphere lacking, very quiet for a Friday night, service hit & miss, as they were quite kept getting asked same question from different staff members. Also not sat in the best spot originally, asked to move, got slightly better seat but much nicer ones remained empty all night.

This is a beautiful restaurant and bar with a great menu and a good bar menu. The food and drinks we had were very good. But I am sad to say the service was not reflective of the standard of the decor and food. The staff sadly were not well trained, unprofessional and lacking in basic hospitality etiquette. Everything took an age! Particularly drinks orders. This could be an amazing eatery and I appreciate that staffing in hospitality is an issue for employers. So when you do get staff, it is vital to train them well. Know your menu, be attentive to your clients, and most of all dont lie to your clients. The food and drinks were lovely and well priced but the overall experience was marred by ill trained staff, who I assume did their best as they who unaware how poor the level of service they provided had been. My advice to the owner is to put your staff through a basic food hygiene course and basic waitering skills. And ensure they can describe the menu and know whats on it! I would not normally write a poor review but even paying them proved extremely problematic. I left a very disgruntled customer. Food fab, environment and decor are fabulous - could be sensational but the experience was sensationally let down by the staff.
