I would not let this home care for my dog let alone an elderly person.

My experience, this is a dreadful nursing home. My mum was here for 6 months. Rude Staff. Extremely poor care. Mum is EMI and can be very difficult to handle. But she was left in her room, urine soaked floor, no sheets on bed, smell was horrific. Tea stains on walls where she had thrown drinks. She fell and broke her hip one night and was admitted to hospital which was her saving grace, as she had a blocked bile duct and extremely jaundiced. The home discharged her whilst she was in hospital. I went to collect her belongings and got 2 cardigans and a dressing out 5 large bin bags and a suitcase of clothes. All her personal photos of me as a baby with mum and pictures of her when she was young with her brothers were all gone. I was absolutely heartbroken. She is in a lovely home now, caring wonderful staff. Please dont consider this home for your loved one, there are much better.

Amazing staff. Residents well cared for. Very friendly place and a pleasure to see staff happy.

I visited Rossendale Nursing Home and was warmly welcomed by the staff team, whose affection for and care of the residents, was clear from the start. The residents were clearly at ease with their carers.
