Napier Homecare Services Limited

I've been receiving care from Napier for approximately 18 months. The care I receive is tailored to meet my needs (aged 45) rather than just care for elderly service users. I cannot fault the service I receive from both the carers who attend my home and the managers who work in the office and provide the rotas. I would highly recommend Napier to anyone looking for a care package.

After suffering a stroke in December, I now receive home care from napier, I have to say I'm more than happy with the care I receive, they treat me with the sensitivity and professional manner during every visit, Nothing is to much trouble. Maria who has been several times, has been outstanding, she's caring, and goes above and beyond with my care, and I've built a trust with her in a relatively short time, and the biggest thing she offers me is encouragement. It's been massive, having carers in my own home, but the carers have made this next step in my recovery very easy. I would recommend napier every day of the week. Thank you.!

Used care for very short period of time, carers time of arrival varied greatly and 9 carers used when it was suggested that same carers would come due to dementia. Even Napier suggested too many carers would be detrimental to a dementia patient. Carer left within 15 minutes on an hours visit, this was a common theme. The patient didnt get anywhere near the time allocated and was left soiled and unfed at times. Very poor service for a very vulnerable patient. Some of the carers that came knocked Napier themselves for service and another took great delight in turning up very early as all her previous patients said no to getting up so she left each one early. Their policy doesnt seem to include to stay for the full time paid for and do other duties. Perhaps this could be implemented by management and ask again the patient if they would like to get up especially with dementia patients. The service at present is extremely poor and needs an overhaul of quality control.

I would like to thank all the lovely staff at napier homecare for the care and support they have provided us with over the years. The staff are very accommodating and nothing is ever too much trouble they have supported us with personal care shopping when I could not get out and domestic duties around the house and always do so with a smile on there faces well done napier keep up the good work
