        I rang them up for some housing advice and they told me they couldnt help it wasnt there thing and passed me on to my mp then abruptly hung up

        Unfortunately they weren't of any help whatever. When trying to get an appointment you speak to a receptionist who asks why you want to see someone , to then tell you someone will call in the next week to speak to you and make an appointment if they deem necessary which can take 2-4 weeks so forget it if you need help quickly. I remember when Citizens Advice were actually very good and extremely helpful, you could pop along and wait to see someone who would then give you follow on appointment if needed. Pity they are not very good anymore.
