Been a member for years hardly used the legal advice line when I did previously found it to be very useful in the past . After resent experience with the fsb legal advice provider found them to be off hand and refusing to help with a issues because they said will not provide advice for a third party even though the work I'm doing and I've been awarded to carry out and run the contract is for myself and I should seek advice from a solicitor they even refused to help with general legislation points See little point in having a legal advice line if they refuse to provide guidance on this issue or general legislation as the issue is a gray area and it's not clear who is responsible for the issue since a change in legislation Seriously thinking of canceling my membership if they are now providing such useless legal advice . I suspect the they didn't want to give advice due lack of experience or knowledge on the subject and just defaulted to the get out clause . Complained to the fsb who basic said consultant a solicitor . I will be forwarding this to FSA as it was always marketed as legal advice insurance and because 100% of the work is for thirds parties my legal advice insurance is basically useless .
