        Ive been going to Woodhouse since I started needing glasses as a teenager (Im now 51) and have never used any other optician. Ive just had another extremely thorough eye examination using the latest technology to scan my eyes and a really good conversation on options to improve things for me going forward. Its such a friendly and relaxed environment from reception through to the optometrist Stephen, so I always feel comfortable discussing my eye health and requirements at all stages of my visit. I particularly like the fact that as well as great service the business plays it part in protecting the environment - supporting customers to do the same in relation to their lenses and glasses.

        Would highly recommend Woodhouse Opticians to anyone. Fabulous range of stylish glasses and superb customer service. With an ethos centred on sustainable practices and an award winning team of such friendly and knowledgeable staff, this is a small independent business with a great big heart. Well worth travelling more than 100 miles to get to you! Thank you Steve, Sukie and the whole team.

        They have been looking after my eyes since I was five years old and now they look after my wife and kids eyes too with the same excellent care they have always offered. When my wife needed glasses they offered us a payment plan, when I had some unpleasantness stuck in my eye (rugby related) they saw me within an hour, if my children are nervous they offer friendly encouragement. They have always offered a friendly, professional, person centred service that I could not recommend highly enough. I fully trust them to have my family's best interests in the heart of what they do. Thank you for all you have done to look after my and my family's sight for the past 30 years and long may it continue.
