What a great place very friendly ,quiet and clean we will be back

Went to check this site with the intentions of staying in the coming weeks. The site was only due to open the following week for the season. The lady saw us looking at the prices on the reception door and came out to talk to us. She was so helpful and very friendly and showed us around the facilities. She then told us to feel free to have a walk around the site. On our way round we were met by this grumpy old guy who asked us what we were doing. Unfortunately as I was starting to explain why we were there my husband politely said hello to him at the same time. Lord above. We were spoken to like some naughty school children. He ranted on about us both speaking at the same time and we might well not have bothered speaking as he had not bothered to listen to a word either of us had said and only one of us needed to talk. Probably couldn't hear us for the crackling noise the cables on the pylons were making or he hadn't got his hearing aid in. Everything went silent. Neither me nor my husband knew who was going to talk first. We were shivering in our boots lol (not because we were cold) Both of us were there just looking at each other until I decided it was me that was going to explain. The site was in a beautiful location but sadly it was not up to the standards as we are accustomed to. Had it been just the lady running the site we may have made an exception and visited but Mr. Grumpy made our minds up for us. Didn't want the milk turning sour every time he walked past the caravan. Bridge House Marina and Caravan Park here we come.

Site quite close to Blackpool. And staff very friendly. However the toilets were definitely not as clean as other reviews have mentioned. Bins were left un emptied all week and there are cobwebs and buggs everywhere in the showers. Other wise a quiet site.

Stayed her one night lovely and welcoming and nice and relaxing place only negative is that its quite a tight site to get bigger vans in Thanks

Once again had lovely long weekend, Doreen (prop) most welcoming facility good site excellent.
