We watched Aladdin at The Old Courts Theatre in Wigan. OK, it's not a high-end production in a big theatre with big-named stars. But that is what made it for us. We watched Cinderella last year and that prompted us to go again this year. The actors are really enjoying themselves and that comes out in the performance. Our boys (3&5) got into the spirit of it and enjoyed joining in. Including the 'skeleton scene' again was a big bonus for our boys. I've no idea how true the pantomime was to the original storyline. We enjoyed it for what was in front of us and without wanting to wish the year away, we're looking forward to next year's performance!
