I left this school earlier this year and Im not going to lie but parts of it were a nightmare but I got through it. Not all teachers are bad there but some do abuse their power and others dont use it at all and let the kids who are always in trouble get away with the things they do. Bullying is a big issue at this school but teachers dont do anything about it when they see it. The new head teacher here is in my opinion trying to help but does bring in unnecessary things to offer the school. For example the school anthem it isnt going to inspire anything apart from people becoming targets to bullies. I think the head teacher needs to listen to what the pupils are saying instead of just seeing them as kids. Also for the students who dont want to read out in class dont make them. Also if they dont put their hand up they dont appreciate being picked on for the answer. They also need to make lessons more engaging for the students because some of them need to be motivated to come into school because no doubt they hate waking up early in the morning to go to somewhere they dont like and dont want to be for a number of hours. On a positive note attending this school I did meet some amazing people and have created so many memories at this hell hole. If you where planning on sending your son or daughter here, well I mean its better than south shore and most of the teachers are alright so go for it.
