On arrival the place is bright, clean and has a good view. From the onset, the staff were friendly and polite. Our food on the whole was delicious, chips were big, chunky proper chips, fish nicely battered, peas nice consistency and tasted great, all spot on except for the pie which was meant to be steak. This was most definitely not a steak pie. When I cut into it, the smell of onions was overpowering, and it had barely any filling. The minimal filling was grey and and all you could taste was onions. Upon asking staff if they had served us the correct pie, one completely ignored us, and the other asked someone else to talk to us, and they just stated it was definitely steak. I informed them it definitely was not steak. It tasted purely like onions and looked like meat and potato texture, and the taste was disgusting. I felt intimidated from the restaurant being full outside and rather busy inside and not wanting to cause a scene but there was no offer to resolve this matter from them at all.
