Blackpool Sea Cadets is a great cadets unit. The staff at the unit, the officers at the unit, the commanding officer of the unit are all a delight to speak to and will help you with ANY issues you may have in real life or at home in anyway they can. It really is a positive place. They don't hesitate to make jokes either, they'll join in with you if you're joking around. They can be very strict though, it's a good thing however. It makes you a better person in my opinion. The facilities there are pretty good. It's an older building but it's a good one at that, a few things are breaking however but from what I've heard money will be spent on fixing these items. I highly recommend this place to all people under the age of 18 that like the idea of the navy or royal marines. The cadets there is superb in my opinion. It's mostly fun, but you learn a lot and you build up more confidence. They help you to improve. Again, I highly recommend the unit or any sea cadet unit for that matter.
