Honest review- enquired about new press brake and guillotine. Great information provided, videos of machines working etc sent across to show what we were possibly buying. Decided to order one of each, paid deposits. This is when the issues started. Guillotine was delivered. Guards were damaged in transport. The CNC back stop drive didnt work. Missing key to drive motor on shaft on install, but all machines are tested before delivery. Contacted and I was advised the issue of damaged guard would be resolved. Press brake to follow on in few weeks time when they arrive. All communication stopped. Multiple phone calls to mobile and emails and texts sent. Office number- told Alex will be in touch. Never rang back. Several months later, offered money back as machine was stuck, or I could have a larger machine for same cost. Accepted after a week of seeing what could be done due to no more room to install larger machine. Refused to BACs payment deposit back even though this is how deposit was paid. Insisted had to be cheque. Another 2 weeks passed and finally a cheque turned up. Still no sign of replacement guard after several months. Happy to update once guard arrives Warning to others- all phone calls and messages will be ignored once your deposit is paid. Luckily deposit was paid back after several calls and messages daily for 2 weeks.

Next time when I purchase machines from them I will think twice. 3 months since purchase machines still not work like they should be. Bending quality on press is not satisfactory. Lot of problems with after service and warranty. Pictures show how Carter Machinery service try to repair back stop on guillotine. Thats not need to be commented.

Awful machines that dont come anywhere near to working. All Chinese and cheap. Bought my saw 3 months ago and its never worked for a full day properly. Can never get hold of them on the phone either. Avoid at all costs!
