Captains Table Fish & Chips

Rude staff member. I accidentally ordered a small fish and chips instead of fish and chips, not realising that the small was for children under 10. It was very obvious that my partner was not under 10 and when I realised my mistake I asked if I could change to the regular fish and chips and pay the difference. The girl that I spoke to was very rude how she spoke to me, she told me that I had to pay the 4 for the child's portion instead of the 3.60 to top it up to a regular. I didn't mind paying that but she kept on that she had now used 2 fish but when I said that it was a genuine mistake, she snapped at me that I should have just read the menu properly. Disgusting customer service over a genuine mistake.

Freshly cooked fish and chips. Fish was full of flavour and chips cooked to perfection. Mushy peas tasted good but could have done being heated up more.

First time today. Excellent service. Great chips. Everything looked lovely and clean. Would recommend and will return.

The food is amazingly fresh. And the potions are more the enough. Best fish chips and peas I've had for a long time. And the place is clean and staff are very friendly. 10/10
