Horizon

Not the best to be honest. It takes a long time to get much progress and if you make a mistake then they punish you harshly. I went from supervised to daily then Mon/wed/Fri and then weekly. I forgot to pick up one friday and instead of going back 1 step, I went back to daily and got reduced. They take forever to answer the phone too. This is people's lives they are messing with and sometimes it feels like they are playing God. As the only service though, they have all the power.

After a recent visit here I have to wonder why a worker called Emma is even employed here when she clearly has no time to bother seeing people. The lady on reception who booked us in was lovely & clear to see she was getting frustrated at this Emma's lack of coming down from upstairs to see to clients. We were in & out in around an hour by which point there were other clients waiting for this incompetent key worker who still hadn't bothered to come downstairs. It's hard enough for an addict to seek help as it is made even worse when those who are meant to be there to help aren't interested in helping. If you are given Emma as a key worker I'd suggest you ask for someone else as no help will you receive from her, she really isn't interested in people or helping or even doing any work with any addicts at all.

Horizon are the most selfish, ruthless people I've ever come across, they deal with vulnerable people every day, & treat them appallingly. I have been with horizon around 2 years & had no support whatsoever
