Evolve Kitchen Design

Jane, the lady who initially spoke with my partner and myself, was very pleasant enough. The rest of my story is a total nightmare. Couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery. Has cost me a lot of money to be able to say this. I would not recommend this lot to do anything in my property ever again. Took 4 and a half months to complete, and the standard of workmanship is piss poor. Be very careful with your money as it is very hard earned. Definitely not worth spending your money with this company.

Initially Andy was charming. I asked him about his previous bad reviews, and he assured me they had nothing to do with him, I also checked on companys house and everything appeared in order. That was until he was paid. Unfortunately, I was taken in by his deceit. His assistant Jane sent me a WhatsApp message on Xmas eve 2022, stating Andy had asked her to remind me to remind his quartz fitters to install the tap because you wont be able to access the tap once the tops are on. I was out with my wife for Xmas eve and missed the message, so this job was not done. As a result, we had NO water or cooking facilities over Christmas and New Year 2022, as the cooker housing was incorrect too, so could not be installed. It is NOT my responsibility to inform his fitters, it was Andys. He refuses to accept that it was his obligation to inform the fitters and NOT mine. We paid for the kitchen on 7/11/22 with assurances it would be ready for Xmas. The kitchen remains unfinished as I write this review in mid-February 2023. The new mixer tap that we purchased from him was eventually installed mid-January 2023, however the carcasses had to be damaged in order to do this in order to fit the tap. It transpires the new tap was in fact faulty and leaked badly, causing water damage to the already damaged carcass. Andy offered us a second-hand, scratched tap as a replacement. What sort of business man would offer a second hand when we purchased one from him new?. We refused, and he then said we can get our own tap and knock the price of it off the fitting cost, the fitter did not know about this. Again, it is his responsibility to replace the leaking tap he supplied; rather than replace the tap as he should, he passed the responsibility on to someone else, and with full knowledge it was leaking, BADLY he still has not addressed the The deal was for Evolve to supply and fit the kitchen. The newly painted kitchen doors were delivered chipped damaged, far from replacing them he gave us a pot of paint to cover the chips. I thought he was joking, he was serious. He uses MDF for the kick boards, that when wet will swell and damage (kitchens get wet, spillages etc). I asked him for the plastic protective strips for the bottoms. We remain waiting. The kitchen cabinets are fitted on different levels, not in line as they should be and totally different to the images supplied that show how the kitchen will look on completion when we agreed to use his company. His resolution was to use MDF board to make up the difference. We paid for a wood kitchen on the same level! NOT to be made up with cheap MDF! He supplied incorrect cabinets that were totally different to the ones in the images to sell us the kitchen. Many promises were made by Andy to finish our kitchen and ALL of them broken. The trades people that work for him have all said they are sick of sorting out the problems he causes. The words con-man come to mind. The kitchen was meant to be a surprise for my wife after an illness, however it has turned into an extremely stressful situation that remains unresolved. There is no care or finesse in the product, or in the installation, in fact quality of the kitchen reflects his customer service and attitude, SHABBY! If you are reading this my advice is to go elsewhere. Andy has no scruples, he is unethical, unprofessional, and uncaring. This situation WILL happen again I assure you. Please make sure the next time it happens it is not you on the end of his dodgy dealings. If there is a corner to be cut rest assure Andy will cut it, razor, like Frasier, sharp. We recently had a kitchen fitted, Andy, Jane and the team from Evolve kitchens were brilliant. Very professional, nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the kitchen is first class, we are over the moon with the kitchen and we would highly recommend Evolve Kitchens. Anna & Col

Absolutely disgusting people. Left my poor mother in a state with her kitchen, delivered the wrong parts for the tap and waste bin, one of the kitchen doors was delivered damaged. Once the order was placed they then want nothing to do with you, my mum has now had to pay a fortune to fix all of their mistakes. We are now reporting the company to trading standards. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS DISGUSTING COMPANY!!!!!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!!! Also, they have lied in their response below and stated they never sold her a kitchen, I repeat this is a complete and utter LIE. Kitchen sold and designed by Chris at Trade Granite, which is now Evolve Kitchen Design and Chris works at Evolve aka Trade Granite.
