October 2022 we had a roof leak following heavy rain. Desperate for a repair we got it done by a firm who came to have a look to quote, then said they could do it there and then. Massive error! They dignosed the problem by flying a drone. Never examined the leak or the loft. Couple of months later, same leak appeared. Didn't even bother contacting original firm as had no faith. Contacted Wyles Roofing via Trusted Trader, what a difference! Attended on time to quote, examined leak, loft and roof really thoroughly. Quote was sent promptly via email next day, very fair and reasonable. Was advised that they had current lead time of 3 - 4 weeks. Was contacted on the day asking if convenient to come and repair. The two young men arrived on time, polite, thorough, cleaned up after themselves. Absolutely delighted with the job and would happily use again and recommend. Just wish we'd got them first!! Service: Roof repair

It took a while for them to provide a quote, but the job of replacing my old garage roof was done to a good standard. The workmen were always polite, helpful and cheerful despite bad weather often delaying them. Patrick their manager visited several times to check on progress, and made sure that I was completely happy with the end result before sending the bill. Service: Roof installation

Wyles is an absolute find after decades of dodgy roof contractors trying and failing to help us. In fact, until Clayton and Patrick of the Wiles (sorry, Wyles) came to see us, and more importantly, our 1960s Fieldings House - the house that time forgot - we'd take a shower, an unavoidable one, each time we ventured out, or returned, in heavy rain. Actually, any rain. The gutter would lull us into a false sense of complacency (ooh, that can of 'leak stop' worked) by damming the water with debris and detritus deposited by birds or the elements ... and then whoosh it down when we least expected it through the ever widening hole/s in the cast iron gutter. Right. Above. The. Front. Door. It felt like a portal to the Bermuda Triangle. And if you looked through it you could see pigeons sniggering. And even though we KNEW it was there and had been for some considerable time it still had the capacity to surprise us. And the postie, delivery couriers, and lovely Keith who brings our prescriptions. All drenched and dreading those regular returns to the House That Wept Floods. We live in the North 'Wet' so we need the guttering to work. Along with fascias and soffits, whatever soffits are. And a chimney which foiled every attempt to stop rain seeping and forming strange patches below. Just. Above. My. Bed. (And occasionally below it...) Ten cans of 'leak stop' and five contractors later we counted our paltry savings and called Wyles out. Yes, others might have been cheaper but Wyles came with water tight reviews - and promptly dispatched a scaffolding team whose members included one 'naked butler' fortunately fully clothed when erecting scaffolding to help roofers 'flash' our chimney. Having finally come out of therapy long enough to write this review - and after weeks of near relentless rain pounding our brand new gutters front and back, fascias and whatever soffits are - I've got to say Wyles deservedly have a great reputation and not just for that shiny roof stuff they keep banging on about on social media - GRP? Although I'd really really like it on my shed roof. And atop my hedgehog HMOs. We are home and dry again, and you can't put a price on peace of mind. We really shouldn't have left it this long. You shouldn't either... This is a team which knows its own worth and the value of being patient with elderly micro managers; polite, courteous, responsive and responsible; who turn up at the appointed time, are efficient, enjoy their work and don't mind being completely overlooked on the tea and coffee and biscuit rounds. As for the banter with and between Patt, Clayton and Mark - it's priceless. Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Gutter installation
